In just a few years, digital content (image and video) have become a powerful communication tool. The participatory web has contributed in making it unavoidable to reach success. For businesses, offering rich, relevant and quality content is no longer optional. It’s an imperative. At Kinshasa Digital, we optimise different acquisition channels (SEO, Social Media and E-mailing) to enable companies to occupy the web with intelligence.
Cinékin’s stroke of genius
It was with a stroke of genius that Cinékin launched to universal acclaim its first (and we hope not the last) hidden camera on Facebook for the release of the movie The Nun. The result: more than 150.000 views (and counting) in 48 hours! We hope that this will translate into a positive fallout for the movie in theatres.
While waiting for the film to be released on 21 September 2018, let’s take a look at the camera hidden by Cinékin.
Sapatu is a Congolese startup that makes men’s shoes. Kobo Hub, an incubator from Kinshasa, has just launched the first crowdfunding campaign of the DRC in order to finance the startup. It’s the first Kickstarter of its kind, one aiming to support local entrepreneurs via alternative means of financing.
The second edition of the Seedstars Kinshasa is scheduled on 21 September 2018 at Ingenious City. The winner will go to represent the DRC at the African Regional Summit of the international startup competition, which is scheduled for 13 December 2018 in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
